Arla sets up shop in Korea
KOREA –, Arla Foods Ingredients, the milk-based ingredient manufacturing arm of dairy giant Arla Foods, is to set up a subsidiary outlet in Korea following increased sales in the area.
The new company will replace the local agent currently handling ingredient sales. The move is expected to enhance Arla’s ties with local customers and raise its profile.
Arla Foods Ingredients supplies a range of ingredients to Korea’s domestic market as well as functional milk proteins to the yogurt industry. The company is also looking to move into the ice cream market.
