Germany’s new dairy giant Deutsches Milchkontor (DMK), the 6.7 billion kg milk per year merger of Nordmilch and Humana, has appointed a 37-year-old manager to one of the highest-profile marketing posts in the European dairy sector. Stefan Kellar, a business graduate, is DMK’s first director of sales and marketing for cheese. According to the new company’s overall sales chief Rolf Janshen, Keller is to head a team aiming to expand into market leadership for cheese right across the continent.
He’s no stranger to Nordmilch and Humana, however. For the last few years Keller has been in charge of industrial sales for Nord-Contor, another result of co-operation between the two leading dairies.
