MD Foods hopes to broaden the appeal of its Pact range with the introduction of a bio yogurt with folic acid.
The new line, which complements Pact spread with Omega-3 and Pact orange juice with calcium, will be marketed with a message emphasising the role folic acid plays in healthy pregnancy. In addition to this, new research which shows that the vitamin may also help maintain a healthy heart will be used. The low fat yogurts come in four-packs, in strawberry and raspberry flavours. The recipe also contains a mild bio-culture.
The launch of the yogurt is to be supported by full-page adverts in women’s food and health publications. Other brand building activities include the launch of The Pact Health Bulletin, free subscriptions to which are being offered to consumers.
