This year, UK based-Tims Dairy has celebrated a milestone – 75 years of yogurt making as a family business. Established in 1949, Tims Dairy has remained true to its Greek roots while flourishing as a cherished British brand, producing authentic, delicious yogurts for three-quarters of a century, the company says. Addtionally, in the last six months, the company has appointed Tony Hinds, as managing director to its drive growth and strategy.

For the Timotheou family, this celebration is a moment of deep pride, reflection, and gratitude. It began in a small basement workroom on Warren Street, London, where Euripides Nicolaou, the family’s uncle, first started crafting traditional yogurts using a family recipe. A few years later, Michael Timotheou, Euripides’ brother-in-law, joined him, and together they established a legacy of quality yogurt production. Soon, the whole family became involved.

As the second generation, the four Timotheou brothers have continued the family tradition. Over the years, Tims Dairy has evolved. Today, supported by a much larger and experienced team, the company remains committed to its heritage, producing a range of yogurts for the retail, foodservice, and ingredients sectors.
