Speculation is mounting that Finland’s leading milk processor, Valio, will be the latest dairy to seek a trade agreement with the merged Arla/MD organisation.
Norway’s Tine Norske Meierier dairying association has already drawn up an agreement to co-operate with the merged entity in the future (see DII 64(12)9).
The Valio management denied last month that any earnest talks on the subject were taking place. Nevertheless, Valio
