Baumer’s IO-Link sensors

Sensor company Baumer offers a range of IO-Link sensor products for speed, accuracy and usability in a manufacturing application, the company says. A range of sensors offer precision, optimum measuring ranges and frequencies, backed up by in-depth expertise, it notes.

Highlights include the 50 Series Process Sensors offering precision, measuring range and response time in a compact design. A large touch colour display in a sealed stainless steel housing, along standardised operation for demanding hygienic and other applications.

Sensing applications with precise position control, inspection and thickness measurement is part of the OM60 Laser Distance Sensors applications. The benefits of OM60 sensors include the ability to measure distances up to 1,000mm, linearity deviation up to 0.03% MR, measurement frequency up to 3.3kHz, along with a digital interface such as IO-Link or RS485. Reliable measurement performance, even on challenging surfaces, may be achieved, according to Baumer.

Baumer’s Incremental Encoders offer Low Harmonics signal correction and wear-free design for precision under the most testing conditions. Other key features include auto calibration which eliminates temperature and mechanical signal errors, resolution up to 65,536 ppr, accuracy up to 0.05º, along with smart condition monitoring and flexible configuration of switching output.
