Kovalus, a leader in advanced membrane technologies, has announced the completion of its new state-of-the-art spiral element assembly facility in Mexico, representing a more than $30 million (€25.82 million) investment and increasing production capacity by 30% to address rapidly growing global demand. In addition to its manufacturing facilities in Massachusetts, Minnesota and Ontario, the new Monterrey facility further expands Kovalus’ manufacturing footprint. It strengthens Kovalus’ ability to support customers across food, dairy, beverage and industrial markets with greater manufacturing flexibility, enhanced supply reliability and increased capacity to respond to evolving customer needs.

The Monterrey facility assembles Sani-ProÆ and KPAKÆ PLUS elements using proven Kovalus membranes, increasing production flexibility, improving responsiveness and helping reduce lead times.

Investments in lean manufacturing, AI advanced automation and rigorous testing further enhance throughput, consistency and yield while supporting faster issue detection, predictive maintenance and continuous improvement while maintaining the quality and performance customers expect.
