Ammerland increases production
Ammerland dairy in Lower Saxony, Germany, has pushed its total annual delivery up by more than 2% to over a billion kilograms for the first time.
This production increase follows a 13% rise during 2008. The driving force behind this success is the Ammerland sliced and ready-wrapped cheeses for the self-service sector but also continual development of new products.
This includes a mature lactose-free cheese which comes under the label Ammerlander “Full Taste”.
This slicing product for over-the-counter sales comes with 43% fat in dry matter and a guaranteee that it has been matured for at least three months.
