Going for gold

The 22 Olympics gold medals that Team GB have won at the London 2012 Olympics have certainly been inspiring. I am also inspired by the fact that 3,927 cheeses were entered into the cheese industry’s very own Olympic games, the International Cheese Awards at Nantwich. As organiser Richard Paul has noted with a bit of awe in his voice, all these people in the cheese trade come out to a field in the middle of Cheshire to look at and enjoy cheese. It is a wonderful thing and all the gold medallists at the Awards should be as proud as the athletes down the road at the Olympic village. As well as all the silver and bronze medallists. Go Team GB!
