Loss of a dairy leader

The American Dairy Products Institute (ADPI) has announced that its CEO James Jefferson Page, 59, has passed away after a long battle with cancer.

Page had a successful career in the dairy industry spanning more than 30 years, including as CEO of ADPI since 2002. Prior to working for ADPI, Jim held positions with Dean Foods, Kraft Foods and PET Dairy. He was instrumental in developing several leading brands, including Milk Chugs and Moosetracks ice cream.
He was named Marketer of the Year by Advertising Age in 1998 for his contributions to the development and execution of Dean’s Milk Chug beverage program. He also was named one of the top 100 marketers in America and received the Golden Cone award for excellence in frozen dessert products. He served on the board of several industry and business boards. Page is survived by his wife, daughter and grandson.
