UK-based Milk Link is currently ramping up production to meet record demand for its range of seasonal alcoholic sauces.

The business will supply about 450 tonnes of sauces to leading supermarkets over Christmas and New Year – a 7% increase in volume from last year. In addition, December will see demand for cream rise by 270% and custard by over 100%.
Central to meeting this festive demand will be Milk Link Ingredient Services’ Staplemead Creamery located in Frome, Somerset. Staplemead will produce (as part of its Staplemead Dairy Products joint venture with Arla) over 800,000 pots of seasonal sauces as well as 2,800,000 pots of cream and 1.2m pots of custard. Its range of fresh dairy ingredients for use in dips and other party foods will also experience a 40% increase in demand.
