Despite the bitter biscuit battle with the Wadias in India about the Brittania biscuit maker, French Danone group is considering teaming up with Indian Keventer Group to set up a large milk processing unit in Rajasthan.

The deal is a three-way alliance with Keventer and the Rajasthan government and is set to be signed on 30 November though the Keventer Group has noted that there are still several players in the race.
At the same time, Brittania is also looking to strengthen its dairy business and under Indian guidelines Britannia’s views on this venture would be taken as well. However, Danone will not require a no-objection certificate from Britannia.
