Dioxin recalls

Following EU investigations of dioxin contamination, two dairy producers have recalled products.

Finnish dairy supplier Valio has ordered a recall of tens of thousands of cartons of cooking cream. According to Valio, the content of the potentially poisonous chemical in the cartons exceeds the legal limit, although it does not pose a health hazard to consumers.
In Romania, Danone has recalled batches of fruit yogurt suspected of dioxin contamination.
