Arla closes Saga blue cheese site in US
Arla Foods is closing a small dairy in Muskegon, Michigan producing Saga blue cheeses, as it ramps up its premium speciality cheeses under the Castello brand in the US. The Scandinavian dairy says it will withdraw its locally produced blue range (brie, Castello soft blue, brie, camembert) under the Saga brand and close the Michigan dairy at the end of December.
