Recycled milk bottles are virtually identical to virgin resin bottles, according to WRAP, which wants to encourage UK plastics processors, packagers and retailers to start using recovered plastic.

The Waste and Resources Action Programme (WRAP) says that according to the trial, the UK can adopt the world’s best practice in plastic bottle milk packaging by using up to 30% recovered HDPE plastic in each bottle.
