Coca-Cola distributing Core Power in dairy foray

Coca-Cola and Select Milk producers have acquired stakes in a newly created company, Fair Oaks Farm Brands, to distribute Core Power, a high protein milk shake, as well as creating a portfolio of brands and products featuring dairy ingredients. Core Power is a high protein muscle recovery drink, and includes filtered low fat milk. It is available in 11.5-oz. recyclable bottles and is aseptically packaged. It is offered in four flavours: honey, chocolate, vanilla and strawberry banana and in two strengths of protein, 20g and 26g.

This miove ispart of the drinks giant’s efforts to move into the dairy beverages arena. “At the Coca-Cola Company, we strive to provide people with a wide range of beverage choices that meet every occasion and lifestyle need,” says Steve Cahillane, president and CEO, Coca-Cola Refreshments. “The new investment is another great example of our ambition to be the best brand, salesand customer service system in Norther America.”
