National Cheese Institute presents Laureate award
Hilmar Cheese Company CEO John Jeter has received the 2007 NCI Laureate Award.
The award, the highest honour of the US National Cheese Institute (NCI), was presented to Jeter at the 2007 Dairy Forum. It recognises individuals who have made significant contributions to the development and growth of the US cheese industry.
Jeter has been in the cheese industry for 22 years and has expanded Hilmar Cheese Company into a global business. The company has four cheese plants, two lactose plants, a whey protein plant, two laboratories and a new division
