Russian Wimm-Bill-Dann has bought one of the largest milk processing plants in the Irkutsk region in Siberia for an undisclosed amount.

The Molka, or Angarsky Milk Plant has a designed capacity to process 150 tons of milk a day and will allow WBD to continue its expansion in Siberia. This is the second acquisition in two months. The company posted a 140% year-on-year rise in third quarter profits to $32.4 million (
