DMK showcases new products at SIAL

Germany’s biggest diary group Deutsches Milch Kontor (DMK) will present new products as well as contract manufacturing at the international trade fair SIAL in Paris from 19-23 October.

Design is on the menu, as DMK presents the entire product range of the export brand Oldenburg in a new design. Among the Oldenburg products will be found condensed milk in 15g packs with a 8.1% fat content. What makes it special is the high-quality aluminium packaging that protects the content from mechanical and thermal damage. This makes the product especially suitable for hot countries. New in Oldenburg range also is a sweetened, condensed milk in cans with only 8% fat and is for both hot and cold beverages as well as for cooking and baking. The can format is easy to use and ensures a long durability.

DMK will also present new diary drinks planned for 2015. They are strawberry or banana flavoured drinks in 200ml packs suited for traveling.

The cheese portfolio will be strengthened as well. The range of Oldenburg cheese slices varieties Edam, Gouda, Tilsit and Maasdam will be presented in a new 150g packs. New to the DMK portfolio is a Greek yogurt with a fat content of 5% or 10%. It can be selected with either fruit or cereal. Another novelty is lactose free UHT milk, which is offered in various fat contents and pack formats.

DMK Ingredients also offers a range of customized products for the processing industry. The portfolio includes both butter products for special applications such as puff pastry and croissants as well as sweetened and unsweetened cream and evaporated milk. Sour cream and yogurt products completes the portfolio.

In addition DMK Ingredients offers a wide range of powder products. The innovations include the special powders produced by vacuum belt dryer. It optimizes the production processes and product properties of baked goods, beverages, confectionery and chocolate. The products of DMK Ingredients are tailored for use in delicatessen and convenience foods, baked goods, ice cream and confectionery and chocolate.
