First Milk makes new appointments
Mike Gallacher, CEO of First Milk, has announced some changed to the senior leadership of the business.
Kenny Bain will take up the role of First Milk’s operations director and will be responsible for all of First Milk’s creameries and processing sites, its distribution network and supply chain partnerships. Kenny has held senior roles in Food Manufacturing, Logistics and S&OP management, in Europe and Asia for companies such as Unilever and Mars. Since returning to the UK, Kenny has been Site General Manager for the Ryvita business in Poole, part of Associated British Foods.
Maureen Ross takes up the role of Group HR director, having previously held senior HR posts at Scottish Leather Group, Compass UK & Ireland, Barratt Developments and Santander.
Paul Miley has taken on the role of Interim MD of First Milk’s sports nutrition business – CNP. Paul has worked in operations, marketing and finance roles for Mars, Michelin and ICI. Most recently, he has been consulting with firms looking to improve their performance in changing market places.
Speaking of the appointments, Gallacher says,“These new appointments strengthen the First Milk leadership team as we move rapidly to improve the First Milk business performance. Kenny, Maureen and Paul bring high levels of leadership, drive and commercial experience to First Milk and will play key roles in delivering our turnaround plan for the business.”
