Recent studies have shown that overall cancer incidence and mortality resulting from obesity is increasing, according to reports from the AACR International Conference on Frontiers in Cancer Prevention Research.

Figures released by the International Obesity Task Force also show that the number of overweight European children is growing by 400,000 a year, with more than 200 million adults across the EU may now be overweight or obese. Overweight and obesity are linked to cancers of the colon, enometrium, esophagus and kidneys, along with postmenopausal breast cancer, the reports say.
However, 63% of British adults have changed their family’s eating habits in the last year to healthier foods, according to the National Consumer Council’s MORI survey.
