GERMANY – Nordmilch, Germany’s leading dairy processor in terms of milk supply with an estimated 4.3 million tonnes in 2004 has followed up rapidly rising sales in Eastern Europe with the establishment of a supply centre and subsidiary company in Prague.

Even in 2003 Nordmilch exports to the Czech Republic and neighbouring countries represented 6.8% of the coop’s total turnover, or
