Stürtz in at DMK

Supervisory board members of DMK (Deutsches Milchkontor) have chosen Thomas Stürtz as chief executive officer and Klaus Wagner as his deputy, as the previous CEO Alfons Kerlfeld has resigned. The 49-year-old Stürtz runs a dairy farm in Dorum in Cuxhaven in Lower Saxony. Wagner runs a dairy farm in Erfurt.

“I am aware of the responsibility of the office, why I also am very grateful for the confidence that I have been shown by the decision of my colleagues,” Stürtz says. “DMK Group is a healthy, cooperative-run business, and I support the DMK strategy of internationalization and innovation. After the necessary, large investments of recent years, our performance after 2016 will be clearly noticeable for milk producers and dairy.”
