Candia to take over 3A milk division

FRANCE – Candia, a subsidiary of French dairy group Sodiaal, is to take over the drinking milk division of Group 3A, or Alliance Agro Alimentaire.

3A, which processes around 600 million litres of drinking milk per year, also produces ice cream, yoghurt and cheese for the French and Spanish markets.

It is the second deal in four months for Sodiaal, which signed a deal with Entremont and Unicopa’s France Beurre in December to take 50% of butter specialist Beuralia.
