GERMANY – Arla Foods has won the Primax prize for the best international cheese supplier in the German market.

The annual award, which will be presented on Tuesday (28 September), is organised by German agricultural association Deutsche Landswirtschaft-Gesellschaft (DLG).

There are also awards for dairy products of high quality. The medals are awarded based on the outcome of special laboratory tests and are also dependent on a product’s flavour, appearance and packaging. The company whose products receive the highest marks wins the Primax prize.

Arla Foods submitted a massive 91 products. 64 of these won gold medals, 18 won silver and one product bronze.
