UK – Scotland-based Robert Wiseman Dairies is still searching for a suitable distribution depot site for London and the south-east, despite voicing concerns about the cream and milk markets.

In a statement ahead of its year-end meeting, the company said that bulk cream prices had deteriorated in recent months due to a weakening euro and lower demand from the continent.

As a result, it said that the current outlook for milk prices remains uncertain, with commodity prices falling. With the implementation of CAP reforms due to begin in July, the company felt that this would only serve to create further pressure on the sector.
