Parmalat founder’s son and daughter arrested

ITALY – Italian authorities have arrested a further eight suspects in the connection with the Parmalat fraud, including the son and daughter of founder Tanzi.

They were taking into custody on 17 February on the suspicion that they knew about the unlawful diversion of funds out of the Parmalat business.
