UK – Scottish company McLelland Cheese is looking to up its share of the UK cheese market following its purchase of a cheese making facility in South Wales.

McLelland, producer of Seriously Strong Cheddar, has completed negotiations to acquire the Aeron Valley plant from co-op First Milk, although First Milk will retain a 20% shareholding and will supply milk to the facility.
