USA – Valley Gold has announced the purchase of Land O’Lakes cheese plant at Gustine, California.

Terms of the sale have not been disclosed but Land O’Lakes senior vice-president Jack Prince, indicated that the company and the union representing its former workers had reached a severance package agreement.

Valley Gold is a new dairy products processor, whose initial production will consist of finished dairy products made specifically from local producers’ milk.
