UK – The Meadow Cheese Group has announced that the Irish Dairy Board (IDB) has invested a major shareholding in Meadow.

The IDB, who produces the Kerrygold brand of dairy products and ingredients, has acquired a majority shareholding in Meadow for an undisclosed price.

Meadow will retain its management team who will continue to run the business. Robert Peel, managing director of Meadow Cheese Ltd, said: “This investment not only secures and enhances the future operations of Meadow Cheese for customers and staff, but will ensure we maintain our market lead.”
