UK – Nantwich International Cheese Show is to take place on Wednesday 31 July 2002 at Dolford Hall Park.

Following last year’s cancellation due to the foot and mouth crisis, the organisers claim that the event will be bigger and better than ever. Now in its 104th year, the cheese show attracts thousands of visitors from around the world.

Mark Bevon, the show’s vice chairman, said: “We are positive that Nantwich is going to be our best show yet. In addition to the regular selection of categories, there will be some interesting surprises which will be announced in the lead up to the show day. Most notably the introduction of a ‘cheese for children’ class will give the future generation of cheesemakers a chance to show the best in the world how it’s done!”
