German dairy adds cheddar to lineup

Rücker, a cheese dairy in northern Germany, is now presenting a British cheese classic.
The new Norddeutschen Cheddar, made in the Rücker cheese factory in Wismar, is characterised by fine red cultures, special maturation on spruce boards, smooth consistency and a hearty, creamy taste, the company says. It is lactose-free and made without preservatives.
