Packaging machinery takes stake in Paladin.
Packaging machinery and film supplier Wrapid Packaging Systems has taken a major stake in Scottish firm Paladin.
Wrapid has already been supplying the Scottish packaging market via Paladin for five years now. It was offered the opportunity to purchase a shareholding when the company’s founders, Ben and Anne McGovern, retired earlier this year.
Meanwhile, Wrapid has signed an exclusive contract with DuPont to distribute the chemical giant’s Clysar range of shrink films. In return, DuPont will have access to Wrapid’s markets in the UK, Ireland and France.
