Packaging machinery and film supplier Wrapid Packaging Systems has taken a major stake in Scottish firm Paladin.
Wrapid has already been supplying the Scottish packaging market via Paladin for five years now. It was offered the opportunity to purchase a shareholding when the companys founders, Ben and Anne McGovern, retired earlier this year.
Meanwhile, Wrapid has signed an exclusive contract with DuPont to distribute the chemical giants Clysar range of shrink films. In return, DuPont will have access to Wrapids markets in the UK, Ireland and France.
