The SDT Autumn Symposium before the Dairy Industries Expo

The Society of Dairy Technology‘s Autumn Symposium is set to be in Stoneleigh the day before our very own Expo, and its theme is “Challenges in Food Safety and Quality in Dairy Product Manufacture.”

After lunch is served on 28 September, the meeting will begin at 1pm with Mike Pinches officially welcoming the attendees, followed by the Society’s AGM. Andrew Collins of Campden BRI will discuss the importance of good hygienic practices and delivering consistent safe food, with Vince Adams following in a discussion on HACCP. Tesco‘s Kay Brennan will talk about working together to achieve high quality and consistent audit standards, and dairy equipment and process design to control listeria will be Hein Timmerman of Diversey‘s topic.

Attendees staying overnight for the Dairy Industries Expo can meet the assembled at the Queen & Castle Kenilworth at 7pm. It is advisable to book a table in the restaurant.
