Karppanen appointed at Arla Oy

Sonja Karppanen has been appointed Arla Oy’s strategy and business development manager, beginning 30 March 2026. Karppanen will be responsible for strategy and business development and will join the company’s management team and Arla Europe’s business development team.

Karppanen has worked at Accenture Helsinki as a corporate and growth strategy consultant since 2022. She has led customer-related entities across various industries and geographies, and has been responsible for developing business plans and leading change. Prior to this, she worked at the University of Jyväskylä School of Economics, where she graduated with a Master of Science in Economics, specialising in international business and entrepreneurship.
