Specialist UK-based ingredients company Middledale Foods, has announced significant expansion plans that will shape the next phase of the business’s growth. The firm will invest across its operations, people and infrastructure to expand capacity, strengthen capability and support increasing demand from food manufacturers across the UK, it says.
The strategy follows the strongest financial performance in the company’s history, with Middledale Foods reporting record turnover of £31.2m (€36.4m) in its latest financial year. The results build on a sustained period of commercial growth, during which turnover has more than doubled and EBITDA increased by 133% over the last three years (FY22-FY25), exceeding previous targets.
Building on this momentum, Middledale Foods is targeting turnover of £52m and EBIT of £1.5m by FY28.

Alongside its commercial success, Middledale Foods has remained committed to creating value beyond the supply chain.
