Court ruling ends Lactalis Toury takeover
The French commercial court of Clermont-Ferrand has ruled in favour of a takeover plan proposed by cheese maker Paul Dischamp on behalf of four companies, ending Lactalis’ plans to acquire Toury.
The Toury dairy group, producer of milk, cheese and infant products, was placed into receivership a month ago. The four companies who put forward the favoured plan is Dischamp, the Dairy Cooperative Group of Charente-Poitou, Spanish dairy firm Leche Pascual and Vitagermine, an organic food specialist.
