Danone plant for Bangladesh

French food giant Danone has announced plans for a new dairy plant in Bangladesh to provide foods to low-income consumers.

The new venture will join forces with the Grameen bank, run by local Professor Muhammad Yunus.
The venture will initially produce a range of enriched yogurts in a bid to encourage increased consumption of dairy products in the country, and could eventually branch out into functional drinks and bottled waters.
