New appointment at IMA Dairy & Food

IMA Dairy & Food, a packaging machine specialist for the dairy and food industry, has announced a new addition at top management level. Philippe Farrugia has taken over as executive vice president sales dairy packaging for the marketing of the IMA brands IMA ERCA, IMA GASTI, IMA HAMBA and IMA HASSIA. At the same time, Farrugia has taken over the company management of IMA ERCA.

Farrugia has experience in the international packaging industry and food processing sector having previously worked as the market area leader for Southern Europe and North Africa at Tetra Pak Processing and where, before this, he also held the position of “Engineering Director” for France and Southern Europe. In addition, Farrugia has worked for Courtaulds Films in the plastics industry, and for Saint-Gobain Packaging in the area of glass packaging.
