SPAIN/PORTUGAL – Evolus, the blood pressure-lowering drink launched by Valio in Finland in 2000, is to be launched in Spain and Portugal.

Valio has licensed the technology to Emmi for sale in Portugal, where it will retain the Evolus name, and to Kaiku in Spain, where it will be sold under the Vita name.

The blood pressure-lowering effect of Evolus products is achieved by boosting the level of certain bioactive peptides and what Valio calls “a beneficial mineral composition”.

Once it has gained regulatory approval, Emmi is planning to launch Evolus across the rest of Europe.
