YDC Enfield to close

UK – Dairy Crest has announced that it is to close its Yoplait Dairy Crest fresh products joint venture plant at Enfield, near London, in early 2005.

The closure of site, which supplied products for the own label and ingredients markets, will mean the loss of around 300 jobs.
