Rolf Janshen helped engineer the merger between Germany’s two largest dairies, Nordmilch and Humana Milch Union in May last year to form the 6.8 billion kg/year DMK with 23 production plants. Now Janshen is to leave the organisation. Before the fusion the 63-year-old marketing expert served on the management staff of Humana for more than 15 years. Until a replacement is appointed his position as managing director of DMK will be taken over by spokesman for the board of directors Dr Josef Schwaiger.
