YDC finds new partner

UK/USA – Rachel’s Organic, the owner of the leading brand of organic milk in the UK and the USA, has teamed up with Yoplait Dairy Crest (YDC) in a manufacturing partnership.

Under the deal, the two companies will work together to develop new organic products under the Rachel’s Organic brand in the UK The yogurts will be produced and distributed by Yoplait Dairy Crest, itself a joint venture between Yoplait of France and the UK’s Dairy Crest.

The first product will be an organic yogurt multi-pack.

Don Gaidano, managing director of Rachel’s, said: “We are delighted to be in partnership with Yoplait Dairy Crest as they can provide the technical capability that Rachel’s Organic needs to develop some of the new formats necessary to expand the product range.”
