Dairy Crest names new MD

UK – Dairy Crest Group has announced Peter Thornton will be promoted to executive managing director on 1 April.

He takes the place of Chris Roberts, who will leave the company on 16 May to pursue interests outside the dairy industry.

Thornton moves from his position as managing director of Dairy Crest’s spreads business, a position he has held since September 2000.
