Geoff Platt

It was with great sadness that I was informed late last week that Geoff Platt had passed away suddenly. He was a stalwart member of the dairy industry in the UK and abroad, editing and writing on various magazine titles. I also had the honour of calling him my competition for more than 7 years. He was always a welcome face in the crowd at industry events and could be counted on for a good anecdote or tidbit of industry news. He will be missed and our thoughts are with his family at this time.
