Fonterra shareholders chairman to retire

The chairman of Fonterras shareholders council, John Monaghan, is to retire in March.

Monoghan has been a councillor since Fonterra was formed and was elected chairman in 2003. He says the councils role will remain an important one, with ongoing issues such as possible changes to Fonterras capital structure.
