Fonterra shareholders chairman to retire

The chairman of Fonterra’s shareholders’ council, John Monaghan, is to retire in March.

Monoghan has been a councillor since Fonterra was formed and was elected chairman in 2003. He says the council’s role will remain an important one, with ongoing issues such as possible changes to Fonterra’s capital structure.
