Greek investors plan Bulgarian dairy

Karzdhali, Bulgaria is set to be the site of a large dairy farm, according to a report from the Sofia news agency. The investors have expressed interest in a municipally-owned or state-owned plot of 200 hectares, which will mainly be used as a pasture for the cows and for building industrial facilities. The authorities are now awaiting a reply from the Greek company, according to reports of the Bulgarian National Radio (BNR).  The dairy farm project is the first case ofintention of a Greek company in the Kardzhali municipality investing after the opening of the Makaza border crossing point on the Bulgarian-Greek border in September 2013.
