Job losses at ice cream company

UK – One of the largest commercial ice cream makers, De Roma Ice Cream, has gone into administration and announced that it will lose 55 jobs.

Administrators Ernst & Young have been called in to take over the finances of the company, which supplies own label multipack ice cream for supermarkets.

The administrators said that the group will continue to trade while it carries out a review.
